No Time Like the Present: Day 211

I’m fighting back to regain my momentum. I gave myself one year to make positive changes with both my weight and my health. While my health is still good, if I don’t change, it won’t be for long. Any positive change will work! I have eaten well and for my health the last 5 days and I already feel better. I still have a long way to go but I am not giving up. Just in case you think you’ve heard this before on this blog… you have. If I have to start over everyday, I will! 🙂

Today’s inspiration came from a women in Ohio who I met at a “Women on Fire” Tea in NYC.  She blogs every day! Kim McBriarty Dettmer. “In Search Of Me in Mommy”.

I can’t wait to post pictures of my vegetable gardens. I haven’t had time to keep you updated but I have lots of great stuff growing. Tomato’s, peppers, cucumbers, brussels sprouts, zucchini, broccoli, lettuce, beets, basil and parsley. Hopefully the deer will leave some of it for us. I didn’t have a problem last year with the deer, but I had a 120lb. German Shepherd patrolling. Now he is patrolling the gardens in ‘doggie heaven’.

I made Chicken breast last night over salad with asparagus. I used the left over chicken breast in a salad with field greens, cucumber, strawberries and blueberries for lunch today. Dinner will be Ground Turkey with cabbage, peas and ginger and garlic. If it doesn’t sound really good, it is!
